Murderers, Thieves! - Smiles Like City Skylines

Video by Jessica Hume.

Hey! You might recognize one of these guys. This is a video my friend Jessica made over the last couple of months somewhat chronicling my band recording our demo & at practice. It would be awesome of you to give it a look, a listen, maybe a like or a reblog. The music won’t be everyones taste but you should always support the arts. Always support local musicians. If not my band, go find a band that you like in your hometown & see what you can do to help them out.

It’s good to see my buddy, Ryan, still bass-ing it up. I’m proud of you, dude. You as well, Justin.

Oh yeah, and that’s Brackston, a guy I met a couple times and waxed musical with for an hour and a half straight at a hookah bar, screaming his lungs out. Good tunes, guys.

A video I did for my good friends in the band Murderers, Thieves! I’m not a videographer. Let me say that again, I’M NOT A VIDEOGRAPHER but it was a lot of fun. Hopefully we get those promos done once I have use of both my arms again.

Thanks for the opportunity guys.

I absolutely love this idea. Whoever came up with it is borderline genius.<3

The Butterfly Project:
The Rules are:1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand. 2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you’ve killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.7. Even if you don’t cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help.

this is beautiful

I don’t reblog often but I really like this idea.

This is a “mailbox” near where I work. On one side it says “Not for US mail.” Unfortunately, this is not the droid we were looking for.

Well I can see the words inside your silence but I can’t speak about your pain for you.
